I woke up at 5.00 am, went to the Bus Station to go to “Etessa”..  The birthplace of Saint Taklehaimanot  :)

استيقظت اليوم في الخامسة فجراً، وذهبت إلى محطة الأتوبيس، لأذهب إلى "إتيسّا"..  موطن ميلاد القديس تكلا هيمانوت :)

I learned that there were no direct cars that go there..  The closest thing was the one that went to “Debre Burhan” area, and then walk to the Monastery..  I took that car, it started moving at 8.00, after loading passengers..  God arranged someone beside me to tell me where I should stop the bus to start walking for the Monastery..  That was at 9.45, after we passed by “Pake” village, which is famous by planting and producing lentils..  Named in the Ethiopian Language as “Misser”..

علمت أنه لا توجد أي عربات تذهب مباشرة إلى هناك..  أقرب عربة هي التي تذهب إلى منطقة "ديبرا برهان"، ومنها سيراً إلى الدير..  وأخذت تلك العربة، وتحركت الساعة الثامنة بعد تحميل الركاب..  أعد الله شخصاً بجواري ليخبرني أين ينبغي أن أوقِف العربة لأنزل على الطريق..  وكان ذلك الساعة 9.45، بعدما عبرنا على إحدى القرى اسمها "باكيه"، وهي شهيرة في الحبشة بزراعة وإنتاج العدس..  واسمه بالحبشية "مِصِّر" Misser..

I got down from the car, the man showed me the street I should walk on..  I started walking, not knowing where exactly to go..  As there was mainly no one in that area..  All are vast agricultural lands..  Whenever I found someone and asked for “Gadam” (Monastery) of Abune Takla Himanot..  They pointed forward..  The view was very nice..  At the background there were some mountains in the horizon, hiding behind some smokes, clouds or pale white fogs due to their distance..

نزلت من العربة، وقد أشار لي ذلك الشخص على الشارع، بأن أسير فيه..  وبدأت في السير، غير عالم إلى أين أتوجه بالضبط..  حيث تقريباً لا يوجد أحد في تلك المنطقة..  بل كلها أراضي زراعية شاسعة..  وكلما أجد أحداً أسأله أو أسألها عن "جادام" (دير) أبونا تكلاهيمانوت..  فيشير إلى الأمام..  كان المنظر جميلاً جداً..  وفي الخلفية توجد مجموعة من الجبال العالية في الأفق، تتوارى وراء دخان أو سحاب أو ضباب أبيض خفيف بسبب بُعدها..

 

I got down from the bus, and I've been told to walk that way for the Itissa Taklahimanot Monastery نزلت من الأتوبيس، وقيل لي أن أسير في هذا الاتجاه للوصول إلى دير إتيسا تكلا هيمانوت   Arrived there about 9:40 or something and started walking, hoping for any transportation car to pass by وصلت هناك الساعة العاشرة إلا الثلث تقريباً، ودبأت في السير، على أمل أن أجد أي عربة تذهب في هذا الاتجاه   A crow  غراب   I can't see anything that shows that there are any Christian buildings around لم أستطع أن أرى أي علامة توضح وجود مبني مسيحي في الأفق   After 20 minutes walking بعد 20 دقيقة سيرا   A look to the back of the road, where I came from was behind that close hill نظرة للوراء، والمكان الذي أتيت منه خلف التل الموجود في الأول   A farmer  فلاح   Enjoying the sun!  !الاستمتاع بالشمس   Cows  بقر   Some hay huts  بعض أكواخ من القش
